I don't think this ever got posted here. How?? passed OC-AMD (OC-X) a short while ago, and now How?? is the #1 folder in the world.

then

You got to check this one out- http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_summary.php?s=&u=13688

That just hurts looking at it. The rumor mill has it How?? is no longer @ his job where he did this at, and the place re-imaged the whole lot.

Then again from what I've read, How?? has started/stopped in the past before.

OC-AMD is back at almost full strength per -

More usless folding info brought to you by your local hero--me!

well, if the person was kind enough to manage for a couple months, maybe post-re-imaging they'll do a network install? we can hope, right? :(

We can always hope but I believe there were some issues complicating it and the systems weren't going to be initiated......but I could be wrong. Marty might remember. Marty?

I never really read much of anything regarding how HOW?? (that sounded odd...) was doing things network wise. OC-AMD was the one fighting the scheduled tasks bull. Microsoft and scheduled tasks is not fun.

HOW?? was running a ton of high powered (3.0+gzh) machines with big packets on from what I read, major scoring there. Many corp. folders don't run with big packets on.

If I get some time tomorrow I will go through the official forums and figure it out.

bigpackets + big machines = big points = good times...

do you know how he's doing with making sure FAH gets re-installed // stays installed on those machines?

not one clue

I think I've read 2-3 posts from HOW?? total, across a crap load of forums. He's the quite type.

It makes me wonder where he worked......I was reading @raged3d and it sounds like someone knows him or his history/background.....

OC-AMD was always at full strength. He just switched the bulk of his clients over to rph_iv for a period of time.

Compare OC-AMD stats with rph_iv stats. One graph drops off while the other goes up.

rph_iv was a moderator and the developer of qd and other utilities.
TheWeatherMan is mirroring Dick's site and a link is at TWM's EM site.

He passed away 8/1/2005.
Richard Howell, a moderator, has died.

One of my machines is permanently donating to rph_iv and will stay that way as long as I fold.

ChelseaOilman- Sorry about the way I worded that. I guess I meant under his own steam, I think OC-AMD first pulled the vast majority of his clients, then went under rph_iv, and now back to himself.

Not that any of this is really here nor there.
