or two.

My girlfriend who has been ripping DVDs from Netflix is going crazy with all the DVDs we have around the house now. She wants to see if there is a way we can store all of the movies in a PC and select what we what to watch from that. I don't want the Windows Media simply because we want to find a way to do this on the the cheap. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've heard that people are using the XBOX for such functionality, but to me that seems to be a waste and if I remember correctly you can't play some games online if you mod your XBOX (i.e. Halo2). I know that we are going to have to have a shit load of HD space to do this and we will have to re-rip all the movies we already ripped...oh well. I really have no idea where to start with all the options out there. I appreciate anyones input....and again thanks in advance.

You might not want to mention that around here...

Mod Edit - ....yeah. Per the rules:

....last time I checked, ripping movies you don't own is a copyright violation. Please read and follow the rules, OK..?? Thanks - B.B.S.
