I'll be building a new computer pretty soon and it'll mini itx based:

CPU: x3470
Mobo: DFI P55-T36
Ram: g.skill eco 4gb

now on to the video card.. i'll have a GTS 250 1gb on spare to use for this build until i get a new video card. I'm leaning towards the xfx 6950 2GB it's only 269.99 after rebate... which seems pretty good to me; however, was wondering if anything new might get released or a revision between now and next month. My deadline for a new video card is next month for crysis 2 and some other games.

oh forgot to mention my monitor:

The 6900 series is the best bang for the buck right now. But as always if money is not a problem than the 580 is the best choice in terms of performance. Rumors are that there planning on releasing the 6990 in a couple of months which is a dual GPU card.

If I was in your situation though I would buy a 6950 and flash it to a 6970.
 
6950, best bang for the buck and will max out most anything at that resolution.
