Are there any high resolution (1600x1200+) LCD's out now, or coming out soon in the 17"-19" range?

Basically I'm looking to switch to an LCD when I can get 17"+ with 1600x1200 resolution and <=16ms response time for under $400, how long will I be waiting?

I think its unlickely that monitters of those specs may ever come out for regular consumrer use. A 17 with 1600x1200 resolution will have an extremely high pixel density, much of the sharpness wil be lost due to being to small for people to see, also tex and other important things will be diffictult to read too far from the screen

this is based on the sasssumption that you would use native resolution for most things.

But for 19" it may be soon, I think that there is currently one 19" with htat resolution on the market, but i belive its priced pretty high.

agreed with above

the dell 2001fp and the iiyama 20.1 panel are 2 common 20 inch screens with 1600x1200 but as already said, its unusual seeing 17"-19" in anything other than 1280x1024.
