My drive's in my sig.

I dont think the Liteon like's my old DVD media that I used on my other computer. That's fine. I can still just use them there. However, what media has burned well for you for your Liteon? The stuff I have is Fujifilm DVD-Rs.

I figured I'd ask here because I know a good portion of us use Liteons for the installation space.
 
If you are having problems with your LiteOn reading or burning different brands of media, make sure you have your firmware upto date. It makes a world of difference.

I mainly use Verbatim, Maxell and Sony DVD-R
 
I flashed the firmware and had to reactivate windows, thats was fun.

Anyway, no joy after doing that. Hopefully other media will work.
 
My Lite-On has been receptive to everything I've thrown at it from cheap Staples brand media to Memorex etc.


Of course, I only use + Media.
