Hey guys i am a new user and just wanted some suggestion =). I'll introduce myself so people can know a bit about me 19yrs old male from Canada hehe =D. Anyways i was wondering about buying some fans for cooling on my PC. Often what i do is leave the side case open to let air in ... i am guessing that isn;t the correct way. My computer gets hot especially Hardrive. Also my computer Specs are as follows: P4 3ghz 1GB DDR400 RAM, ATI 9600 SERIES, 120 GB HD and motherboard is Aopen AX4SPE series.
So any feedback is welcome, as well i also like to mention my computer is at 37Deg C at the moment. I downloaded a temp someone recommended on the forums. Also i will post pics soon =) just gotta learn how to upload em. ^__^ can anyone teach me?

Welcome to the forums, Spike23.

You shouldnt have to leave the side off your case. Idealy, you should have one or more fans in the front of your case pulling in air across your hard drives and one or more towards the back of the case. Have you thought about doing some research on your current case and other cases? I have 10 case fans in my case and it stays cool at 30 degrees C.

Hmm yea i think my case suks haha
I only got one fan at the front to pull air in and one at the back but i took that one off recently cuz it was noisey as heck. Thats when i decided maybe i should buy more fans to cool it down and thus lead me to this forums to seek advice on fans hehe =). Oh yea i seen ball bearing fans like normal all black ones for 5 bucks hehe and from there on like 60 dollars what the...T_T crazee stuff anyways there is so many fans haha. Don't know what to buy and is my computer at an ideal temp =) like 35-37 deg sounds kinda hot though hehe
