Put together a computer for a friend today. the system is an athlon 2400+ with 1 GiG DDR 3200, and a shuttle MN31N motherboard. the computer itself will turn on, fans and all. but i get no video out of the onboard g-force. the board worked in another computer i had i just swapped it out into the other case. the power button on the front of the case is a bit testy and i sometimes have to jostle the actually pin connection to the power button to get it to boot. any ideas on why all of this is messed up. if so please get back to me.

We really need a sticky for non-booting systems.

1) Check all connections to make sure their good and seated right.
2) Swap out parts that may be the offending part
3) Strip down the PC to bare minimum and try again
4) Completely disassemble PC and start over.

DUDE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME.... Oh you forgot to put the insert stanoff screws meaning that your motherboard is grounding with the case. Your case should have come with some hex screws or you can just get it out of your old case. Be careful though because I fried a motherboard and PSU for forgetting to put the hex screws in.

thanks when i seperated the two it worked fine. the last computer i built came with the spacers in the case. didnt even realize it.
