So I recently bought a ryzen 5 1600 and thought it'd be a good idea to overclock with the stock cooler I read a few places it runs stable at 4ghz 1.25v so I adjusted it and after doing so the computer won't boot. A little while sitting there it detects the monitor then goes blank and then my keyboard and mouse lights go off. I'm using the b350m gaming pro msi motherboard and Corsair 2133mhz ddr4 if it makes a difference. Pls halp! Also already tried removing cmos and replacing it.

Never mind it fixed pls delete!

For the future, you guys might write what was wrong and what you did to fix it. Because someone might google for the solution and end up in this thread. And a simple "I fixed the problem" ain't gonna help them.

1.25 volts will not run stable at 4 ghz, you will need at least 1.35 volts and likely even past that. As a warning to anyone else go up slowly on the speed until your stability program you use crashes and then increase voltage as needed. Do not just ramp the processor up and hope for the best.
