Help with Sony FW900

Ive had this amazing monitor for almost a year. Just recently out of nowhere the screen gets extremely blurry. The image would be perfectly fine then it gets blurry. Im using a DVI-->VGA adapter for the BNC connection. I dont have a regular VGA cable to test things out. Maybe its the cable? Any reccomendations for high quality cables that would work with the FW900? I dont want to go back to my Samsung 245BW Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unlikely it's the cable... more likely it's the monitor. Sadly, very few places handle repairs on this sort of thing well anymore. Do some googling and see if this is a common issue. I had a HP P1110 21" CRT years ago that developed a severe over- bright problem and that turned out to be common, and I learned how to fix it (at least temporarily) via the service menu and later via a proper hardware fix. It's not going to be easy or cheap, but if you love the monitor as much as many owners seem to, put the work in and you can probably keep it going.
