A few days ago i noticed a rattle had started in the left side speaker housing of my Sennheiser 515 headphones. So today i took the housing apart to find that the speaker had fallen from its holders and bounced around, putting kinks in the plastic (i am assuming) surrounding the center cone. Well i have found that this is the source of the rattle, the only way i can get it to stop is by me holding the piece of plastic with my finger tip, but this is not practical. I tried placing a small piece i cut from a packing peanut in between the plastic and the holder but that does not help. Does anyone know where i could buy a new speaker? or should i just buy new headphones?. I cannot get service through Sennheiser as i do not have the receipt anymore. I would really like to avoid buying new headphones as i got these for 50% off at a compusa that was closing. Any help is greatly appreciated. But if you believe there is no hope what so ever please leave a recommendation for a replacement set of headphones.
