I need help with overclocking my core2 duo E6400. I get 2560 with AI-nos. I cant get anything when I go into bios either lock ups resulting in fashing bios or I get 1600MHz. I am aparently lost so any help would be great. Here are my system specs.

MB ASUS P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP P965 775
PSU COOLMAX|CW-650T 650W RT
MEM 1Gx2|OCZ DII800 OCZ2A8002GK
CPU INTEL|C2D E6400 2.13G 775 2M
MS WIN VISTA HOME PREM
I would to get around 3 to 3.2 GHz with air cooling

Alright well start with the CPU configuration screen in your bios:

Manually set the multiplier with the modify ratio support
disable C1E support, Max CPUID value limit, and vanderpool technology

then move to the AI tuning screen:

Set the DRAM frequency to 1:1 (533)
Lock PCI express frequency to 100
PCI clock syncronization to 33.33
disable spread spectrum
memory voltage to 2.15V or so ( I believe that's as high as that ram can go without voiding the warranty, and it allows you to go above stock, while keeping tight timings)

FSB termination voltage: go right up to the second highest setting. (1.4V I think it is, but I can't remember)
NBVcore second highest setting should be fine so long as your case is reasonably well cooled.

Then you simply up the FSB (CPU frequency) until you reach the level you like. As for the core voltage, it will have to go up as you increase the CPU frequency, so it's trial and error.

Then find the northbridge configuration page disable DRAM timing by spd:

in here you can loosen the timings a touch for some more overhead on your ram. the first 4 of the most importance. 5-5-5-15 is a safe set of timings...if things are stable you can try to tighten them...

This is just some steps I went through on my overclock on that board. YMMV, and I am just offering some thoughts....don't get mad at me if it doesn't work.
