Hi All

I need help with the remains of nvidia drivers that keep wanting to stay, i have used all the usual tools like driver cleaner 3 etc but still have a few remnents of the drivers version 53.03 in my system.

1. I seem to have a service that runs for nvidia in my system i have been into services and disabled that - i want to know how to remove this service from the system?

2. I have two entries in the msconfig and when i remove them from the run key in the registry they go but upon reboot they come back the files are:

nvcpldaemon.dll

nwiz.exe

if i use driver cleaner to clean everything nvidia i get a windows protection popup warning me that important system files have been replaced with unrecognizable versions so i have to do a restore.

If i just remove the 53.03 verson files using driver cleaner then when i reboot the lines inmsconfig are back and cause errors to appear because the files they point to have been deleted.

any ideas and no there are no viruses, trojans or spyware present.

it's probably a conspiracy so that when you install an ati card it won't run the adaptive algorithm properly....
