looking for something that'll give me multiple drives and raid combinations, can access via mobile device (cloud), is simple to set up and allow me to transfer files to and from anywhere. been looking at all sorts of products on newegg but none stand out. what are you guys running?

QNAP, western digital, synology. They can be configured easily and have all the features you are looking for.

Synology.

+1 to Synology.

Unlike the proprietary nature of Drobo, a Synology is just a small Linux server and utilizes Linux kernel RAID. So you could take the drives out of a Synology and mount the array in any Linux box.

hmm. i'll be able to download music to my phone from "my cloud", stream movies to a laptop at home, use the nas as the location for my itunes media and push and pull from it at will?
