Help with mining info/links

Litecoin mining has peaked a friend of mine's interest.

Could someone please post some preliminary links/how-to's etc?

There are literally dozens of "how to" guides out there. I started mining this week as well and tonight I finally got my HTPC setup and my main rig running CUDAMiner. My son's rig is next, in the process of getting it going right now and he has 2x 7870s, so it should help my cause.

Keep us updated as to how well (or not) your nvidia card does for litecoin.

litecoin mining doesn't work so well with nvidia. the best card for it is 7950, if you can find one.

It's doing better then I hoped. 227kH/s at the moment. Which is better then most of the GTX770 cards found here.

Its sad that my Radeon 7870 in my HTPC can do 272 kH/s though. My son's rig is doing ok though, 2x Radeon 6870s are doing 700kH/s.

I've done very little tuning on anything. I tried a couple configs from users with 770 cards and they did worse than the autoconfig, so I went back to auto for now. I'll probably let it go for 24 hours or so to get some kinda baseline, then maybe start tweaking.
