Just recently purchased an E-Ink Spectra 6 8.14" display with Thor driving board eval kit.

Not sure if anyone has experience with these out there but just thought I would tap into this resource. I currently have no idea how to upload or change images on this device and emailing eink has resulted in almost no return communication.

I assume I can't be the only one with this kit out there so hopefully someone here could chime in. I've done circles around their website and google and different AI solutions.

Development kit only came with instructions on pressing a button to change image from next image to back and a white display. No information on communication or software. And nothing in the emails provided after purchasing direct from them.

Hopefully someone here has dealt with this. Thank you.

I don't have that model but the older Spectra I have is pretty easy if you have the eINK software to load the image files. The driver board has some buttons for changing the image.

I have a Pi running windows IoT that has a script to grab a screenshot of a weather page and then up it to the driver board every hour or when someone pushes a momentary switch.

That Spectra 6 looks to be a improvement. You might have better luck asking on a maker forum or subreddit.

Thanks I will take a look. The problem we have is that we weren't provided any software and couldnt locate any or information on the spectra 6. And communication with eink has been horrible. I honestly didnt think to look at the previous spectra for info.
