does anyone know if this is a good case? SILVERSTONE TEMJIN SERIES Model SST-TJ05-BT. the website is http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-tj05b.htm. it looks really nice. i wanted to know if it really is quiet and worth the money. is there another case that anyone knows of thats around $200 or less that is better than this case? thanks.

If you want something that offers a 120mm front intake as well as a 120mm exhaust, take a look at the Antec Lanboy. I am pretty sure it has the same fan set up stock. The case you linked to is only as quiet as the fans that you install into it, as well as how restrictive the fan grills are. I would suggest some Panaflo fans or Pabst fans to replace any stock fans if you want quiet. Of course, the quieter the fan, the less amount of air flow you are going to have, so it is almost imparitive that you do some good wire management inside the case as to not block any air flow. The stock fan grills on this case are VERY restrictive, and would have to be cut out and replaced with grills that allow better air flow. What happens when grills restrict air flow, is that the fan spins faster to try to compensate for being restricted, which causes noise. The restrictive grills themselves are also a cause of noise. If you are hell bent on that case, cut out all of the stock fan grills and replace them with wire frame grills, or if you desire you can go with some designer grills like ones that Bonz makes. Besides the Antec Lanboy, maybe you can also take a look at the Lian Li cases, you will find cases from both companies for under $200 that will fit your requirements.

I have this case, and I am still working with it. It is quiet and the materials are high quality. The case itself is steel, and the front is aluminim. Very good looking case. It's like the Thermaltake Tsunami case with the Silverstone FP26 Eudemon inserted in the front.

thanks, i'll look into the antec lanboy. does anyone else have any experience with this case?

I'm looking at getting it. I'd definately cut out the grills. It looks like a pretty sweet case.

yeah, i really like the way this case looks compared to many of the other cases. i had never really known anything about silverstone so that is why i want everyones opinions.

I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend the Antec Lanboy. I have a friend who owns the case and cooling wise, it is good, however the aluminum bends far too easily, even for an aluminum case. Putting the side panel on, you have to do it right or the panel with bend and you will have to fix it before you can slide it back on again. It is very quiet though. The two 120 fans are temperature controlled and even on high speed, they remain quiet, especially not heard over the loud music constantly being played.

The case you have linked looks very nice. Its so pretty. I only wish I had experience with a case like that, but its just a little out of my price range...about $165 out.
