Hi guys, I gots me a problem. SitRep, 9600 Pro (built by GigaCube or GeCube) refuses to function. Whenever I boot up a game it will not render any 3D anything. Like a bad case of allergies. Windows goes blue and I get an "Unmountable boot volume" error and it restarts. Other times, mainly happens with Star Trek Elite Force II, I get a standard Windows error and I have to End Task. Please Advise, System as follows:

Windows XP Pro with SP1
AMD Athlon 2500+ Barton @ 3200+
512MB of XMS DDR400
ASUS A7N8X-DX
GeCube Radeon 9600 Pro Cat. 4.7

Everything has been updated (games, Windows, DX9) and still SOL. I do kinda hope that this thing is dying, I need and excuse to buy that 6800GT :D

Sure the chipset drivers are installed properly? Could be the AGP drivers are effed.

Uninstall and reinstall catalyst drivers. You also want to check your power supply, and hard disk. Disk drive going bad might have borked your driver.
What's the info on your power supply and hard drive the OS is on? Do you o/c your card?

I should feel insulted by those responses, but C'est la vie. The PSU is a two month old Antec TruBlue 400w. The HDD is a two week old Caviar SE 200Gb. The Cat's have been uninstalled and reinstalled using every version since 3.0. This is the last resort before I go to my uncle's to test every piece of hardware in the box.

Edit: The card hasn't been OC'ed since this began 'bout three weeks ago.
