My Intellimouse 3 scroll button died so i picked up the mx1000. I am having a hard time figuring out how to program the buttons for different applications. W/ Intellipoint, you can create different settings based on the .exe. I installed Setpoint 2.14 & see that u can set application specific functions for a button, but cant figure out how to do it for ea .exe. Anyone know if Logi offers same feature as MS? Thanks.

PLEASE DON'T TELL ME YOU LOST YOUR MOUSE/THREW IT AWAY!!! Microsoft offers free replacements for broken microsoft mice, if you fax in some stuff... here is more info :)

Edit: Oh, I'm sorry... I sorta ignored your question. The answer is no, and according to Logitech support line, there never will be - at least for the MX1000. (I have an mx1000)

thanks for the link. i will get it replaced so i have a spare. in the meantime i still need to figure out if mousepoint has same feature as intellipoint. if not, i think i will return it & stick w/ MS mice.
