hey guys,
I've got a chaintech K8T800-8237 motherboard, and just got my ATI x800xl video card in a week or so ago. I installed it per instructions, and I get no video at all on boot. everything winds up and beeps, but no video to see. i'm running Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG.
I installed it on my old rig from like 4 yrs ago and it loaded just fine. I cant figure out what the problem is. the bios is set to 8x 256mb.
I have a brand new 550watt psu, with 35a on the 12v rail, with on other peripherals, so power isnt the problem, especially since it worked fine on my 230watt psu. The old video card still works fine on this computer once i reinstalled it.
any ideas why i'm nopt getting any video at all on boot, not even bios?
please help if you can, or mention some options to look at.
