Help. Surround vs eyefinity

I've been running 3 screens since December. I began triple screens on the ATI platform with an eyefinity setup.

I have been playing alot of World of Tanks. Some UT2k4, some Supreme Commander. For WoT eyefinity is perfect... the other games... well they have quarks.

I got wooed into upgrading my 6950 by the 'free' Borderlands 2 offer from NVidia. I installed the GTX670 4GB last night. Setup of surround was simple. Nvidia offers a few nice options... like span or lock the taskbar to one screen or across the entire large display. There's also the maximize to current screen or all screens. So things are going well.

I fire up WoT. Even although the taskbar spans all 3 screens and maximize is set to all 3 screens, the WoT HUD is focused on the center screen only. If I play in windowed mode, I can maximize WoT and everything looks correct, but as soon as I go full screen... bam, all HUD snap to the center display only.

It seems to me this center screen HUD snap can be good or bad depending on the game. Eyefinity never did this, it always seemed to treat the group as one big display. Surround is different... it almost feels like it should be more flexible but there's no option about HUD snap.

So my question... has anyone else seen this? I haven't tested it yet, but I suspect this may help games like UT2k4... but in WoT this is bad... Is there any setting that controls this HUD snap?

Thank you.
