HELP - Possible PSU problems with x800??

My x800 oc'd and modded running at higher oc'ings forces the PC to reset (at standard speeds it is fine) or hang. It only seems to happen at the higher oc'ings (say 520/560) when I try to play a game at maximum resolutions and details etc..... lower levels of detail and rez even at those speeds seems ok though. I don't get any artifacts though.

Is this a sign that the power supply is not good enough?

It is a QTEC 550W, which I presume would be ample or are these PSU's pants?

I have the following connected:

ASUS A8V MB
A64 3800+ CPU
2 DeskStar HD's
DVD Writer
DVD Reader
6 Fans on the case
x800PRO modded to 16 pipes with Artic Rev 4 cooler
Various USB devices

Can someone (with more grey matter than me :D ) quantify this please and also suggest a replacement PSU (make, model & spec) that will be up to the job, as the PSU rating would seem plenty.

I have spoken to someone else and they seem to think it may be a problem with the cards core?? But on my temperature log it never goes above mid 50's. Obviously I don't want to spend £100 on a new PSU if that is not the problem.

Many thanks.
