Im currently using CRT's because I'm a PQ whore. My current CRT is dead so I tried the Viewsonic VX922. The PQ was a joke and I was able to get newegg to refund me. Is there any LCD's that have good PQ and is still good for gaming? I only need a 19" 4:3. Deep blacks and vivid colors are a must.

Depends what you mean by PQ. LCD can do brightness, sharpness, vivid colors and geometry.
If you try to use an LCD in a low light environment, you'll see that even the top LCD's fail miserably when it comes to deep blacks and producing detail in colors close to black.
If you're spoiled by a quality CRT, then you'll only want to consider S-IPS type LCD displays as they do not have the viewing angle and color issues of the other panel types.
As a gamer, I play a lot of FPS and dungeon crawler games with the lights out. LCD's are terrible for this. Every game I play (and I play a lot of them), except for RTS games, benefit from a good black level.

That's an older TN panel, just like the VX922 he already tried. It would have very similar PQ.
