So I am running a 430 watt power supply. I built the PC about a year and a half ago. It has a sapphire 270x, 1tb hd, 125 ssd, and 8320 amd cpu. Nothing is overclocked. I mainly played Csgo and COH2.

So recently my computer started shutting off. Its been doing for about 8 months now but It started slowly doing it. At first it would shut off once every few days. Then it became once a day and now it automatically shuts off after 15 minutes. It only does it while gaming however. I can watch hours of streaming hd video with it performing fine. I did attempt to mine way back in the day and I have always left the sides off of my tower for air.

Do you guys have any ideas? It sounds like a power issue but I don't know why it would be fine running games 4ever and just start being a problem. It seems to get worse with each driver released, well right now games are unplayable. This new interface amd has annoys me. I thought the card might be over heating but what is your guys opinion? Does a power supply go bad over time like this?

So I just downloaded cpuhwmonitor.

My cpu was hitting 81 degrees and my GC card was hitting 55 c.
do you think my cpu is overheating and causing the pc to overheat?

at idle it is 39 degrees

Your PSU is dying. The cpu temp is a little high, but it isn't a cause to your shut down.
