Hey guys, I've had my XFX R7970 Black Edition for nearly a month now. I left it at stock settings for about a week, but then got an itch to get some overclockage out of it. I've been using the default catalyst overclocking feature to set the card to 1125 core / 1575 memory with the power control slider set to +20%. It's been fine, but I want to try and shoot for 1200 / 1625, which the catalyst controller cannot achieve. I tried using MSI afterburner and did the whole unlocking process, Unofficial Overclocking EULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it, and also changed the "UnofficialOverclockingMode" to 1. It successfully unlocked the sliders, but now the sliders were not displaying what speeds the card was at, and furthermore MSI wouldn't let me unlock the voltage feature. After going to settings and unlocking the voltage feature, MSI wouldn't register the change. So basically two problems here, clock speeds are not being displayed on afterburner, and the voltage slider will not unlock. Any suggestions? Maybe other programs?
