My mb is H81 Pro BTC. I've overclocked both my core and cache to 35, Vcore at 1.065 and cache voltage at 1.030.

I'm trying to overclock to 3.8 but nothing seems to be stable with. I haven't tried many variations. I usually post at OCN but I'm experiencing connectivity issues with that site.

I also want to use offset voltage but when I set it to -0.200, it didn't POST and I had to reset the jumper.

Thanks

What I would do is not use offset to determine the voltage it takes for you chip.

for 3.8ghz you should be able to run in that 1.1 area. Just set voltage to auto and multi to 38 and see what your VID is.

Then try to set it at that voltage and start backing down.

Thanks for replying and trying to help, I appreciate that. Can you please go through my motherboard's overclocking settings and suggest. There is no manual BCLK setting, I can only select low or high in it.

I'll try what you suggested in the mean time.
