I built a computer for a buddy at work, he's only had it for about 5 weeks (2 of that he spent away from home over Christmas, with the unit powered off).

He received a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR under Win10-64 bit.

I am now trying to diagnose what part has failed or what may have happened.

Build List:

Asus Z170-A
Intel i7-6700K
INTEL® SSD 600P Series 256GB M.2 80mm PCIe NVMe 3.0 X4 3D1
Toshiba DT01ACA300 3TB SATA3 7200RPM 64MB Cache 3.5in
ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1070 STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING 8GB
SeaSonic G-750 SSR-750RM 750W PSU
G.SKILL Aegis 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4
Reeven Justice CPU Cooler
ASUS DVD burner

When I try to boot it up, I get NO display at all, from either the GPU or the onboard video (tried DVI, VGA, HDMI). I do have the green LED at the bottom of the motherboard lit and the RED LED for the CPU LED is lit. No post beeps, etc.

I have removed the video card, to try and remove at least one part of the equation. Still no boot or any change in the LEDs that I see lit.

Any ideas folks?

Friday night I am going to try all the obvious stuff like, reseat power cables to MB, reseat the ram, etc.

Thank you ALL in advance!

Jerry
