well, i just installed my SP-97 and 92mm Tornado. Damn that fan is loud! My system temps r down by like 10 and my proc is running 5 degrees less (new arctic silver 5 application, the site says lower temps after the break in period, so im excited). Now on to the bad news, i try changin the 2500 to 3200 in the bios, and bam, everythin loads fine but it wont go into windows!?!?! what do i need to do to fix this.
 
Try upping the voltage a bit, maybe to 1.675v (or whatever your NF7-S allows), see if that works. If not, keep going.. just don't go too high. No errors in prime95 is the right answer (at least for me).

What speed is your RAM?
 
i think you experienced the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death), if this is so, you probably need to up the core voltage to about 1.775 to 1.8, i've got my xp2800 at 1.775.
 
just take it slow. when i got my 2500 i tried to go right to 200x11 with no luck at all. so i just started at 175, loaded Prime doing the balanced test, and every 20 mins i went up 4MHz in nVida System Utility. after a couple days i was at 210 at 1.65v. now its 215 @ 1.725v and prime's been goin about four hours, so im sure i got more left.
 
I would try uping the voltage, with that cooling you should be good all the way up to around 1.9v. Trust me I would know, see my sig.

But I wouldn't go up that high, its not needed. Try like 1.675v or 1.7v. Then run Prime95 for awhile and watch the temp of the processor with motherboard monitor or something like that. If it gets to around 55c then back it down.
 
well, there was no bsod, the screen stayed black and the window's loading screen never came up (though all the other stuff it uasually does happened, like detecting my HD's). also, ive been running my comp for about a month witht the stock hs, so would i really need to take it slow?
 
Just to make sure that you don't fry it. If you go to fast you may regret it later. The fact that it posts and doesn't load windows says your probaly close with the voltage. So thats why you don't need to go right to 1.9v. Take it up a notch and try it. If its not stable try the next step.

But each time watch your temps so you dont fry anything.
 
up it in increments of 0.05 and see if u get any improvement
this should work for u at around 1.75-1.8
 
just increase fsb by 1 or 2 each time, then when it becomes unstable, then increase the voltage by .25 volts until you get into a acceptable range with safe voltages. i did that to get my 2800 to 2.4ghz. voltage at 1.675, overvolts to ~1.75 volts.
