Hello from Europe Austria!

I have the same SGI 320 Visual Workstation with screen 1600 SW LCD like you (bbz_Ghost) also would like to install Vista.:confused:

You can't.

The SGI 320 Visual Workstation (like the one I have) can only use Windows NT4 or Windows 2000, and no other OSes save for a very special kernel build of Linux, but that's it.

You'll never get Vista on that machine, it's simply too old and too damned slow.

It's the right forum in the since he wants to install an operating system, but the SGI 320 is nearly 10 years old and simply not capable of running Vista, or even XP for that matter. It gets really technical really fast, but the basic gist is: the 320 doesn't have a BIOS, and that pretty much ends OS support with Win2K.
