OK guys, I want to upgrade on the cheap but still have some nice performance.

Here's what I have lined up:
Open box E5-1650 V3 $450
Used ES E5-1660 V3 $485
Used ES E5-2667 V4 ES (2.9 ghz Octa) $350

My inner nerd wants the new shiny v4 but that wont OC whereas the first two will.
Not sure about how I feel about ES but I have seem many people have good luck with them.

If you're looking to OC, I'd go for either of the 1600-series.

You just have to ask yourself if the extra two cores are worth the tradeoff of the lower base clock and the slightly higher price.

Ended up going with an 8 core 1660. Hopefully I can get it up to at least 4ghz.

Seems to be a pretty good damn price on that 1660. I'd almost have to consider that if I found it.
