Help me overclock a XP2200

Hey, I have a XP2200 T-bred cpu and was wondering how I could get the most out of it. Since my mobo fried a month or two ago, I purchased a new one from the forums. It's the biostar m7ncd which is pretty good, given it's price, but when it comes to overclocking, there are no options in bios except for raising the fsb. Now my question is, how would I go and perform the wire mod to raise voltage and how would I unlock the multipliers? Also, since I don't have an agp/pci lock, am I severely limited to the cpu's potential (I ran this cpu at 2.4 gigs with the other mobo)?
 
well since there is no agp/pci lock your not going to get to far before you get problems. i would sell the motherboard to someone and then go buy a n-force 2 mother board.
 
I had no problems with oc'ing my 2200 on a less then good KT600 chipset, cause on that i could only raise the fsb also i put it up to 333 with no problems. Probably should get a new mobo if you can but otherwise, just adjusting the fsb shouldnt lead to problems if you raise just a little bit and not too much.
 
I have Duron 1.8 GHz which I read is a reconfigured Athlon XP 2200+. I have it now on 133 MHz FSB. With my Asus A7V600-X (VIA chipset), would it do any harm to my machine to have it at 166 MHz? I really need to know because I just built my machine and don't want to damage it because I don't have any more money right now.
 
your multi is 13.5 so if you set the fsb to 166 it will put you at 2.241 ghz does your mobo have voltage options?
 
OK, btw, I wanted to know if raising my FSB to 166 MHz will cause any damage to my Ti4200 video card or my WD HD or NEC DVD.

Anyway, here are the settings:
CPU Speed: 1800 MHz
CPU Frequency Multiple: 13.5x
CPU External Frequency (MHz): 133/33
Memory Frequency (MHz): Auto
CPU Vcore Setting: Auto
CPU Vcore: 1.500 V
CPU Level 1 Cache: Enabled
CPU Level 2 Cache: Enabled

You know at the CPU Speed, I can highlight 1800 MHz and change that. I remember it was 166 MHz FSB but I can't remember exact speed but the 2.2 GHz you mentioned sounds right. Wouldn't that give a huge boost? It impresses me but I only want to try it if I know I won't screw up things.

\EDIT: I just checked with a download.com version of sisoft sandra that said that my voltage was really 1.6 V.
