I have an Athlon 3500 Winchester, im using the stock fan and heat sink that came with the processor.

I want to overclock it a little, but not sure how to do this. I DO NOT want to buy a new better fan, i am hoping i can overclock it in a few minutes and not worry about temperatures.

How would i overclock my cpu a little bit? can someone write me a quick step by step guide.

thanks for any help

Oh I hope so much that this gets answered because I have the exact same set-up as you and I also have the same question.

ESPECIALLY, because I have heard that the 3200+ Winchester can OC to 4000+ speeds with stock cooling. So I can only assume that a 3500+ can reach that relatively easily, but with more stability.

I think theres a program called CPUZ or something like, but I have no clue. You are gonna have to leave it up to the [H] crew.

Hehe... well okay, maybe not YET!!!

I plan on buying the same stuff you've got within the next 2 months. The only thing different is that I plan on buying an X850 XT PCI-E card. The memory and the processor is the same with what I am getting.

Hey you should move this to AMD processors, more people would answer it.
Or to the overclocking forum.
