I'm thinking a ton about watercooling my setup and putting my radiator in the wall, this 4870x2 and q6600 cpu is raping my bedroom with heat... so here's what i have

A-Bit IX38quadGT
Visiontek hd4870x2
Core2Quad 6600
Antec 900.

any help = <3

it will be pretty costly for a decent setup... the X2 blocks themselves are about 140 bux.

for a whole kit with all the tubing, fittings, fans etc you're gonna be looking at about 400 bux

for 4870X2 you can buy fullcover of course OR if you dont want spend a lot, you can buy two second handed mcw60 (cost about 60$ for both) and buy longer screws andthis blocks will be fit (I saw this mod somewhere)

10$ box fan in the door to your bed room would solve the issue, and winter is coming so you could i dunno, open a window.

Oh, and going to watercooling won't help the heat load your computer puts into your bed room unless you actually put the radiator outside the room, which would require a very large pump because of head loss through the tubing.

I'm going to mount the radiator inside my wall and put a cover over it so the heat rises into the attic.
