Hello all!

Just setting up a vp2770 with my xfx 6950 2gb
The screen is all pink and static is running all over.
Is the cable I have incorrect? I am using the dvi cable from my 2209wa
I've been using this same port for my 2209wa with zero issues.

The Dell 2209wa ships with a single-link DVI cable, which is not enough to display the VP2770's native resolution. This could be causing trouble of some sort. The VP2770 should have shipped with a dual-link DVI cable and a Displayport cable. You should certainly try the dual-link DVI cable next.

So it appears. Completely forgot about that for the 2560x1440 club
Are you sure it ships with one? I had purchased used and it came with DP, VGA, and USB only

Yes it comes with one. I just got my VP2770 a week ago, and I recorded myself opening the box for the first time. I have video proof. :p Use displayport if anything else.

Mine was used so that's all that came with it~
Can't use DP because the 6950 only has mini DP.
Meh.

just run out and buy a miniDP to DP cable/adapter then, should be cheaper then a dual link dvi cable
