I have a amd athlon 64 3000, with a dfi lanparty and 1 gig of crosair value select ram. So far, the highest I have gotten above the 2.0 ghz default speed is 2.1. It's my first time and all i have been doign is changing the cpu/fsb req ratio and fsb bus frequency. What stuff should I try to decrease and increase? Thanks Alot.

since u have value ram.. change the divider of ur memory to 5:4 or 166mhz... and overclock from there.. also add some more vocore(voltage) to ur cpu... 1.600 to start it off.. but dont go beyond 1.7 on air cooling... and wut motherboard do u have? hope its not an nforce150.. if it is then 2.20 should be fine..

How do you change vcore, what does it say in bios? Also, to change the divider of the memory is it just the DRAM freqrency set(mhz) in DRAM Configuration from your bios?

Ok, i got it to run at 2.47 ghz but I changed agp voltage to 1.6, changed memory divider to 5:6 and went to 2.6*9.5.

Raising voltage on your RAM can help too, though you may not need it if you are running a 5:4 divider.
