Guysss....

I need help as soon as possible! I`m building my PC in the new case although I have a problem.....

the POWER LED cable that goes to the motherboard...should be 3 pin...BUT the new case has it with 2 pin!!!

I'm lost!! What do i do??

THANKS!

Nip the connector off the cable from your old case or use the entire assembly from the old case. You could also hardwire it - got a 50/50 chance of getting it right the first time

no...you didn't understand.....

the connector is a 2 pin...while the motherboards accepts a 3 pin one...with a space in the middle.....

and as the dude above you said, cut the connector the case has (so you have 2 1 pin connectors) and attach that way.

I understand what you mean....

sorry....I'm a little stressed.. :(

BUT...Its so small that I dont think you can cut it in half....

just use a razor blade to score the middle of it and keep using the blade to cut through. works very well on plastics and you can put it exactly where you want.

Or, whenever you want to turn on the computer, take a screwdriver and close the circuit between the pins (breifly touch them with the head of the screwdriver). That is if you don't feel like cutting

Humm he was talking about the power LED not power button

Mine's not wired at all... figured I have 3 CCFL in there so I know when the comp is powered... that and the 8 fans.... *sigh* too loud

yeah, if it's the power LED it doesn't need hooked up, really.

See if you can find another three pin connector, then hack off the 2 pin and splice the 3 pin into it.

some boards will work with a 2 or 3 pin, as usually the last 2 pins are commons.

Well......I didn`t succeed in the task of cutting....plus I have blue lights (the rear 120mm is lighted!!!! incredible blue!).......but my computer is up and running.........after 2 hours and something I finished....the only cable you can see is the power that goes to the Video Card.....and the origamis!

And is very very less noisy than the other one!!!

wOOt!!

I'll post some pictures with the webcam!
