I removed my motherboard's stock NB heatsink when I got it so I could put a Thermalright HR-05 on. Well, the HR-05 blocks the use of my top PCIe 1x slot and I'd like to use it so I have to put the stock NB heatsink back on. Only problem is that I need new push-pins to install it. I had to cut the original push-pins so I could remove the stock NB heatsink.

Anyone know where I can get push-pins for my NB heatsink? I've called Asus and they don't have any.

if you cant find push pins, this is what i did to lap the scythe infinity...

any hardware store = 4 8/32 2inches long metric flathead screws comes with nuts, 4 rubber sink washers, a pack or reg metal washers...if you use the small rubber washers on bot sides of the board you can eliminate the use of springs, the rubber is tuff and gives with tension, just be careful making the bolts tight, dont over do it...

bolt, rubber washer then through mobo, then rubber washer, 2 or 3 metal washers depending on how high the bracket sits and the nut...

hope i was helpful...if you dont wanna bolt mod another idea is arctic silver adhesive
