I am thinking about water cooling my case and want to try doing it for $200-$300. I noticed that a heater core is cheaper than getting a radiator that's designed to go in a case. What is the difference? On danger den they have pro and extreme radiators. Are these going to cool the system better than a heater core?

Really they both just cool liquids, think of it in terms of what its made of and surface area. As to which is better I would say the dual heatercore on dangerden will be the best price/performance.

And if you really want to save a bundle you can buy a heatercore at autozone and mod it yourself.
