Does this makeshift amp provide a good audio quality enhancement for the price? Will it do much for my Sennheiser Eh 150's ?

You can't really tell much about it without seeing the insides.

However I can tell you the gain is a little to high for those cans.
(The only reason I mention that is because those volume controllers suck on the lower part of their range)
