HDMI or DVI connection

With my future upgrade to 5870 there is a question which cable to use to connect to my T260 - the DVI or HDMI port. Is there really any difference in graphics displayed or any other things I should consider? I know that connecting TV set to comp HDMI works better, but does it work the same with standard displays (non FullHD)?

It really doesn't matter. The only practical differences between the two are the connector (and cable size) and the fact that the HDMI specification includes a provision for audio. Use whichever happens to be more convenient with your particular display. With most computer monitors that's probably DVI.
