hdd running hot???

what is a good operating temp for a hdd, i have 2 maxtor 7200rpm in a shuttle and they both run around 50c under full load with the cover on.. should i be worried?
 
Below 60C is fine, over is a little worrisome. But then I've got a Quantum SCSI unit, full height, original 7200rpm drive that runs fine at 75C. Might put a fan on it this summer out of boredom.
