for that price? hells yeah.

its a crippled R600, but being the clever peeps ATI is they left all the ROPs in place knowing the major flaw they yield when they're expected to perform Anti aliasing functions.
 
Wow that's actually not bad for the price. Placeholder competitor for the 8800GT till the RV670's come out?

No way. At 256MB and 240 Shaders, they are trying to get any money they can.

If 800Mhz and 320 shaders, with 512MB of DDR4 didn't stop the GTS, what do you think the GT is going to do...

Especially since the GT is coming out with a 256MB version as well.

Need some big price drops all around...

Still would be a great card if the GT didn't look so promising :(
 
I see your points. At least this is $100 cheaper than the better performing 8800GT as of today, so it's not priced to gouge... hopefully :p
