My brother mailed me up his old P3 600 with a maxtor 40gig, when you try to boot the system I get Primary Master hard disk Fail..

The Maxtor Test Uty will see the drive, but won't do much with it and I tried mounting the HD on my system and the hardware device manager shows the drive, but Admin hard drive tools doesn't show it in the list...

Any idea's how I might be able to copy everything off the drive?
