does anyone else besides me ever run into this type of problem?

you set the jumpers correctly and set the drive on the correct ice channel of the chain. but the drive wont post or show up in windows. Yet you leave the drive all alone on the chain and it posts?

I have weird problems with my drives where I have to put them in odd orders and change up my configuration as to how the drives are installed so that a new drive can be visible to the system.
