I recently bought a 200 gb hd from newegg. I then formatted my old 60gig for a storage drive....now whenever I move anything onto it it freezes the computer. I checked the master/slave setup and everything is fine....Did my harddrive die somehow?

Thanks,
Jason

Whats the specs of the 60gig.

If its up to date, its best to use the 60 as your default windows drive and 200 for storage.

Try formatting the 60 in windows then try the dump agian

Are they set to master/slave? Why not try the cable select or whatever the hell it's called. Best bet is just to pull up the charts on the jumpers and take it from there.

Oh and BTW does the disk have any file system formatted for you to work with?
