Having A Problem Burning To DVD

I just got my computer a few weeks ago and I have been trying to burn some old basketball games to disc. The very first time I tried it, it worked perfectly for me. I just tried doing it again tonite and on 3 different occasions, I kept getting an error message when it tries to write to disc. The error message says this: DVD err (DVDErr, 721100). My DVD burner is a 16x and I am using 8x Memorex DVD+R discs. I started off trying to burn them at 8x, but twice I had the same problem. So I decided to try once again, but this time I used 4x. I got the same message. I even downloaded the latest firmware for this drive and that didn't help any. The drive is a Philips DVD+/-RW DVD8631. I wonder if I got a bad batch of discs? It just seems funny that the first one worked perfect, but none have since. Maybe the drive is bad.

Memorex QA isn't always the best, so try some better media.. Fuji, Maxell or Sony.
