have i reached my max overclocking capability

hi guys just wanted to run this by the serious techies here ive got an e2160 procesor with cooler master hyper tx 2 on a gigabyte g33m-ds2r with some a-data vitesta extreme edition ram 800+ i managed to get the cpu stably to 300fsb 2.7gz 1.4 cpuz showing 1.392 volts
the temps are about 20 degrees idle and 41-42 in full load with orthos running not realy shure about that bios version is f7 im thinking the ramm is holding me back since i cant get it to start at anithing below 5-5-5-18@800 +0.2 volt normaly it should be able to run at 4-4-412 even overclocked but i cant even get it to fire at aniting below 7-7-7-21 @900+0.3 would it help to change to some crucial ram? or have i reached my limit with this motherboard considering that i dont have 1:1 ratio

Your temps are great, I have no doubt you can get more from the chip.
Try slowing your ram down to see how far you can push it.
Once you know it will go higher, you know you need better ram.
Dont buy anything until you have proved what is limiting you.

You may have a motherboard that wont go much beyond 300MHz, I had similar at XMas, limiting an E2180 overclock to 3GHz max, eventually gave it my sister at 2.8GHz cos I know she wont clean inside it.
