I just got an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe, and a stick of 512 Corsair XMS PC3200 today. I go through the format and all fine, get the nvidia drivers installed without a problem. I go to play some of my usual games (CS and BF:V namely), and they have a good deal of lag. Before I transferred my system to this new mobo, i was not having any lag issues at all. My current rig is as follows:

Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
512 Megs Corsair XMS PC3200
1.33 Tbird (running at 1200, with an SK6 cooling it very poorly)
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (the built by ati one)
350 watt Antec PSU

I am currently using the Catalyst 4.6 vid drivers (the 4.7s did the same thing), and the newest NVIDIA nforce drivers (also tried the ones from the cd that came with the mobo). Could it be some drivers I missed that is causing this?

if that doesnt work its because ur processor is too slow

u should get a new one; u definitley are not optimizing ur setup by using that Tbrid

Amen to that. I have a 2400+ tbred, but no heatsink to cool it yet. That comes this upcoming payday  I'll give that a try real quick and see how that works. The weird thing is that it didnt do this with my previous mobo. The only thing thats changed in my system is mobo and ram  That comes this upcoming payday. I'll give that a try real quick and see how that works.

And that did not work. I am willing to bet its the processor acting gimpy as hell.
