Hard drive recovery

AAAAHHHHH! Somebody help me please!

I need to find a good piece of software for recovering data from a hard drive. Something happened that I haven't been able to figure out, and A hard drive on my file server is registering as blank. I downloaded the demo of GetDataBack for NTFS and it found that all of the file are still intact, it is just the partition info that is wiped out. Right now, I can't afford the $80 for the software, so are there any free/Free alternatives that can do a good job?

well there isnt much in the freeware that is all that good for recovery
but there is this PC Inspector File Recovery (freeware)


for a good file recovery ap Id use File Scavenger which is half the price at $40


but if you wanted to actually repair it
use Disk Patch also at $40
