Hard Drive Recommendation

The following is what I'm looking for:
1. "internal" 100+GB SATA drive
2. enclosure w/fan and firewire 400 and 800 connectivity

Rationale:
Internal's cheaper and I can put it in a desktop once I get one.
I'd like some form of cooling for the drive b/c I've heard it improves the chances of it not dying.

So does anybody have any suggestions on what are some good internal 100+GB (not more than 200GB) SATA drives? I don't know too much about whether I'd want 7200 or higher RPM, what size cache, or the seek time because I don't know too much about those specs. Basically, I'm looking for a drive with specs that would max out throughput(?) with SATA at a cost that doesn't get above $1/GB (if that's possible). Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Its also 100 gb its 76 but dam sweet I suggest getting a sata raptor

yeah, two i've considered are the maxtor maxline III and the western digital raptor WD740GD. any word on these?

how about an enclosure?
