I currently have 3 hard drives in my main computer.

2 maxtors 60gb in a raid 0 array and 1 Western Digital 180gb.

I'm transfering some parts to a new computer and am just wondering which hard drive would be fastest as a single drive. (My new mother board dosn't support raid on ide) The model numbers are:

Maxtor 6Y060L0
Maxtor 6L060L3
Western Digital 1800BB

I can't seem to find any info on which Maxtor would be faster. The both are 60gb, 2mb cache, ata 133. But the model numbers are different. Can't find out why, so does anyone know?

Or would the WD be better for my one drive? It currently is my back up hard drive, but if I used it in my new system I could still use raid in my old one.

I guess the real question here is which is the faster hard drive in normal operation?
